Harton Regional Medical Center is proud to have some of the most dedicated employees in healthcare today.  Many employees stay with Harton the entire length of the career and some have even worked at Harton since it opened in 1965. In 2007 alone, two employees celebrated 35 years of employment and one employee celebrated 38 years with Harton! Their dedication and loyalty speaks for itself!

The Human Resources Department coordinates the needs and interests of Harton Regional Medical Center to provide the community with efficient, economical, hospital services and to staff the hospital with qualified, competent, productive employees. The department plans, coordinates and administers the comprehensive human resource programs adhering to the guidelines established by Administration, JCAHO, and all federal and state laws/regulations. The department recruits, develops and assists with the training and retention of competent employees to staff the hospital. The department administers the following programs: employee benefits, employee health, wage and salary, and human resources policies and procedures. The department also manages the adult and teen volunteer services. The department serves as an advisor to administration and managers on legal matters related to employment and employee and labor relation issues.
